Do I Have to Pay to Speak with an Attorney?

Do I Need an Appointment to Speak with an Attorney or are Walk-Ins Accepted?
Appointments are available by calling our office at (361) 356-1277 or filling out an online contact form. Scheduling an appointment will allow us to focus solely on you during your visit.
How Does Insurance Work in a Typical Car Accident?
Typically in a collision, the insurance company of the party at fault will be responsible to pay for damages.
- Liability Coverage (through the other driver’s insurance) – If the other vehicle's driver was responsible for your accident, and their insurance company accepts responsibility, they will normally pay what adjusters agree is a fair amount for your vehicle to be repaired. You may experience a wait, or even be without transportation, as the other insurance company assesses fault and damages, and determines payment.
- Collision Coverage (through your insurance) – If the other vehicle's driver is uninsured or underinsured, you will probably need to file your claim through your own insurance company. If you do end up filing a claim through your insurance, your deductible may be minimal or even dismissed if you have uninsured and underinsured driver coverage. Your own insurance company will usually be more helpful and more timely in resolving your claim, because you are their client.
If the other driver is at fault for your accident and injuries, you can seek compensation, even if you are not currently insured.
How Long Does It Take to Settle a Texas Auto Accident Case?
Timeliness in settlement is impacted on how complex the case is, and if there is an agreement about who is at fault.
How Much Is My Personal Injury Case Worth?
